Be it lymphoma cancer (like my little girl Bitsy) or pancreatitis, arthritis or just plain ole dealing with old age. It is our sincerest hope that you will find help here, and offer help where appropriate. It doesn't matter what kind of pet you have or what the problem is. Here at PHF we welcome any pet owner with a problem. While we are a friendly community we are NOT all experts, use common sense and good judgment when deciding on the best course of action for your pet. There is no guarantee that what you find here will help, so I urge you to use caution and DISCUSS WITH YOUR VETERINARIAN before taking any actions on suggestions you find in these threads. We are not doctors or veterinarians and are NOT licensed to practice veterinary medicine. The goal is to discuss options for treatment, and lend a sympathetic ear, NOT to provide diagnosis or directives for treatment. Take all discussed here with a skeptical view. On the right you see my littly "Bitsy". She is the reason for this website. She died 03/07/07 when she lost her fight with lymphoma cancer. We fought it, won a little, but lost in the long run. Bitsy inspired this site to help others, and that is it's primary purpose. Please lend a helping hand with advice or just love and support, we can use everyone's kindness to make this a place of love and sharing. If you have a web site too, please link to this. |
