Convergent Strabismus in my kitten.
My kitten is about 8 weeks old I think, he was my Uncle's but he moved in with us and now he is a family pet. Ever since my Uncle had him he was "cross-eyed". I think I made a pretty accurate diagnosis, when both of the eyes are pointed towards the nose the medical term is Convergent Stabismus. Poor thing, but fortunately he is a pretty happy kitten and he runs and plays really well. He wrestles with my older cat a lot but sometimes falls off the bed a lot. He can play well with string but sometimes he looses track of where the string went and might jump after it and completely miss. He is pretty normal, but the the thing that I am worried about is that he is going to older and he will become a street cat that loves to go outside to hunt but comes inside to sleep and eat. My older cat is the same way. When my kitten goes outside he could fail to dodge an oncoming car or get hurt badly in a real cat fight. Is there anything I could do?
