Cat not eating!

For the past day and a half, my 3 year old cat has been just sleeping and not really eating. I don't know what to do or if I should even be worried.

When a cat is not eating- you should be worried, they lose weight very quickly and sometimes they just don't start eating again (it's unknown as to why).

Did you take your kitty to the Veterinarian, has s/he improved? What did the Veterinarian tell you?

Could this maybe a cat affected by the tainted food?
