Default 2 Cats In Need Of Immediate Temp Foster Home

Hello All!
I'm new here, and in need of some help!
Sadly, at the end of this month (which is very rapidly approaching!) I will be moving out of my apartment and won't be able to take my cats with me. Where I'm going is only temporary and I plan to take them back again as soon as I find another place on my own. I need someone who would be willing to foster them for approx 4-6 months. I can provide food, cat litter, litter boxes, toys, scratching posts or anything else. It won't cost you anything except some love and affection! I was holding out on posting this to the general public hoping that I could find a willing friend or family member, unfortunately nothing solid has really come together yet and I only have another week! Unfortunately I can't afford to board them for that long of a time, and I would be devastated if I had to surrender them to a shelter. I have had them both for several years and they are my family, during these hard times I would hate to have to say goodbye to them forever. I live in southern NH and could transport them to southern ME, NH, MA or RI.... can anyone out there help?!?! Even if they go to seperate homes, as long as they are somewhere safe! And I will bring them back home as soon as things are settled down and stable again.
About the cats..... one is male, approx 5 yrs old, black with a few interesting white markings, no tail! (born that way) He's a very handsome fellow, likes to keep to himself most of the time, but can be very sweet and affectionate when he wants to be. I'm a bit more concerned about him going to another home, sometimes change is rough for him and he'll get a bit anxious at first, but usually he's ok after a week or two. He gets along with my other cat, but it was hard at first. I think he would do ok in a home with other animals, but I'm not 100% sure, I think he'll just need some time to adjust. He does have a problem with over-eating though so food can't just be left out all the time or he'll stuff himself! I have a food dish for him that is on a timer and only dispenses a certain amount (in case I'm away overnight or something like that.) When it's time for me to feed the other cat I usually just put her in another room so she can eat in privacy without the boy trying to steal it from her.
My girl cat is about 3 yrs old, black and white with beautiful markings. She's a real sweetheart and everyone tends to fall in love with her! She can be a little playful and kinda crazy from time to time, but she's starting to settle down now that she's older. She gets along very well with people, is quite affectionate, and would probably do very well with other animals too from what I can tell. They are both very wonderful animals and really deserve a nice home over the upcoming months. It's the holiday season, and all I want is for them to be ok! Please, any takers, advice, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Please take the cats to an animal shelter in your area. That's the best option to take.

Well, this would be the best decision you can make.
