Default A Heartfelt word of advice if your kitty is vomiting

My 4 year old cat Rocky was laid to rest on Monday. Only 3 days before we took him to the Veterinarian, he started getting lethargic, hiding and throwing up bile. He also stopped eating, going to the bathroom. He was an inside cat and never went outside. There were and are no chemicals out in the open at all in our home and nothing changed with his diet. My cat was diagnosed with severe renal and kidney failure and almost no chance for survival. I am telling you this in hopes that you do not wait to go see your Veterinarian when your cat is sick. The money we paid was well worth our cats comfort even though he didn't make it. I really hope that Rocky's story helps somebody out there in saving an adored pet's life. May God bless.

I am so sorry for your loss. I just had the exact same thing happen to me and my cat, Luna, in January. I was a terrible experience that I hope to never have to repeat again. They ended up having to do an autopsy to find the problem...severe pancreantitis. Unpredicatble and untreatable in cats (or so I was told). You might want to take a look at the question I posted earlier today..."Blue Spa pet food question".
