Default Very Very Important!!!!!!!!!

Today, news was announced about 60 million containers of pet food being recalled which is causing kidney failure and deaths in pets. Unfortunately, the actual products are still a mystery although there are store brands such as Walmart, IAMS and Eukanibia and others... More info will be released later. From the information I have so far, my cat Rocky was an avid fan of their food. He died Monday. As an owner of a cat just buried because of kidney/renal failure, let me tell you the symptoms. Withdrawn and hiding is the first thing I noticed. Vomiting,,even if you think it is just hairballs,,,vomiting more than usual is more the factor,,, vomiting just foam or a yellow color, loss in interest of food,,,sleeping a lot and no interest in playing or anything....This is how Rocky was for 3 days before we took him to the Veterinarian on Monday. It was very sudden and totally unexpected. God Bless you all.....I hope none of you experience this...if you find your pet is eating this type of food though,,,,contact your Veterinarian.

Thanks!

Default Tainted food Recall information

Here is the website to go to for information. Unfortunately my Rocky lived on the special kitty pouches. God bless you all and if your cat is vomiting acting sickly and eating any of these foods, stop feeding it to them and contact your Veterinarian right away so you don't have a heart breaking loss as I did.

Menu Foods Issues Recall Of Specific Can And Small Foil Pouch Wet Pet Foods

This is just horrible. I'm so very sorry about Rocky. What a senseless tragedy.

Doh! Tucker & Chucky

Thank you so much for this information. Our kitties, Tucker & Chucky have those very symptoms. We sat at the Veterinarian for hours last night but I didn't have the $300.00 they needed to complete their examination. We were able to get some anti-biotics for them and hopefully they will be sympathetic enough to give us a remedy before it is too late. Tucker is doing exactly what you discribe. Chucky is 2 yrs younger and maybe not as affected because he's hanging in a little better. Thank you so much for taking the time to make your post so that we may have a chance to help our cats.

PS: Our cats have been eating Friskies dry food. Friskies says that their cat food is fine but I'm wondering now weather theres been an oversite or something.
