About 6 months ago, I started feeding my cats Blue Spa Select Indoor Formula cat food. It is a high quality food without all the grain fillers that a lot of low cost foods have.
All of my cats have been the picture of health their whole lives. Then, in January, my 5 year old cat, Luna, got sick. After 3 days of Veterinarian visits and a trip to the University of Tennessee Vet Hospital, she was diagnosed with severe Pancreantitis and I had to have her put to sleep. Then a week ago, one of my "twins", Vika, got a Urinary Tract Infection. She has been on antibiotics for a week, and got put on prescription food, so she is doing better and recovering nicely. I can't help but wonder if either one or both of these cases was brought on by the food I was feeding them. Has anyone else tried any of the Blue Spa Select pet foods? Has anyone else had any health problems while feeding their pets these foods? |

I just found out that the company that made this pet food that I was questioning has now posted a recall on some of their kitten food. I am of the belief that if one food is bad, all of it COULD be and why take chances with your loved one? If you would like to check out their website and recall info, here is the link.
