Cat eyes problem

I have two cats, one female and one male. About a month ago my male cat Scruffy did not have a lot of engery, and had drainage from his eyes. It was bad that I had to wipe his eyes to open them. Beause I live on a farm I thought he got into something because he is outside a lot. The Veterinarian did not find anything wrong with him. Now my inside female cat Callie,has the same problem with her eyes and has what seems to be a stuffy nose. Her energy level is the same and is eating fine. Could this just be a cold, not sure if I should go to the Veterinarian since they could not find anything wrong with Scruffy.
