Confused Why did my kitten spit up

Hi, I noticed my kitten spit up, not vomit, mostly bubbly saliva, could it have been she had a hairball...

Did she by any chance eat some grass or a bit of a plant? It's quite common for them to eat grass and then throw up a clear frothy liquid. I don't really know why they do it, but i've heard it cleans their stomachs.

It's not something to worry about. :-) Your kitty probably is trying to get up some kind of hairball, if it doesn't come out that way- it'll come out the other end.

Something that may help the hairball or plant go through her system is some hairball remedy goop from the petstore. If she won't eat it voluntarily, slather it on her paw or upper lip and she'll lick it in that way.
