Take your cat to the Veterinarian ASAP! Cats won't usually start vomitting and having runny stool until there is something seriously wrong.

Just to be clear, is your kitty throwing up the diaereha? If so, this is a sign of an intestinal blockage... it is severe constipation. Your cat can get septic and die from this. The blockage can be an object your kitty has eaten, but it could also be a tumor.

If your kitty is throwing up, and is having diaherha the normal way. I honestly would not feed your kitty for one meal to give the cat's system a rest. Also, diaereha in kitties can be treated with children's chewable immodium (Crush it up in the kitty's food). I have a 19 year old that throws up and has diaereha the normal way.... I am told by my Veterinarian that the appearance of these symptoms consistantly, is a sign of kidney failure. (Which was most likely brought on by the recalled food he'd been eating beforehand)

It would be a good idea to visit your Veterinarian.
