Unhappy Please Help!!!

Ok here is the thing. I have a cat she is about 2 years old. when we first got her from a local animal shelter we noticed her sneezing and coughing ALOT! We took her to the Veterinarian and they said she had Calici virus. Its just something she is going to have forever. The doctor gave her anti biotics and some vitamins to sprinkle onto her food everyday that will help keep her immune system up. She was fine after that. no more coughing and sneezing
It is now 3 months later and i am noticing that she is REALLY GAINING ALOT OF WEIGHT! and she now has blood in her feces. I also found a lump on her heind leg. I am very afaraid that is is cancer or a sever bowel problem.
So here is the catch. My husband is in the military and i am a stay at home mom for my 3 year old son. Because day care is outrageously expensive. Anyway. Our income isnt the best and we tried to apply for a credit card through our Veterinarian's office and they denied us and i dont know about the whole insurance thing now. I tried to find a Veterinarian that will bill us and well they just dont do that. I am the biggest pet lover you will ever find and it is just killing me that we just dont have the money for this.So i guess what i am asking is does anyone out there know of any way this may be affordable for us. I hate having to see her be sick its not her fault we dont have any money and she should not have to suffer because or it....i just feel horrible!

hello,

I am so sorry :-( I am having financial issues in dealing with my cat who has cancer. Here are some web sites - take a look and maybe one of these can help you? Try imom first, then maybe fveap, and so on.... best of luck - thinking of you!
