Is there new info on poison in foods today?

Hello to everyone.

I'm a new member, as of today (May 4, 2007). I have two sweet kitties, Annimali (aka Animal, pronounced the Spanish way, age 8, who had a nice birthday party on March 10!) and Carita, (aka Creetie or Creature) whose party will be on June 1, when she turns 4. I will probably post more about both of them later on. And I look forward to learning about your kitties, too!

I may not post often, though -- I'm addicted to the computer, and am trying to cut back.

Anyway the purpose of my post today is that a friend of mine today told me that the source of the poison melatonin has been found, in China. Remember, the actual factory there has not been identified? The Chinese officials would not give out the name? At least that's my recollection.

The latest news I've been able to find is several days old. Does anyone have this latest news?

My friend said she saw this on television, just this morning (Friday, May 4).
