Default Tabasco is not well

Hi my 8 year old cat tabasco is not her self today.

She was fine when I went to bed last night and normally she is waking us up at silly oclock in the morning. This morning she did not and we wondered what was wrong.

She did not want her breakfast and did not do her normally early morning routine.

She stayed on the sofa and did not move. She has not touched her food and has missed her toilet tray completley.

We are about 5 hours further on and she has only moved once where she was sick with clear and white bile.

She then jumped up on the sofa and has stayed in the same position.

To look at her you would not think that there is anything wrong but she has just not moved.

The other cat Dijon who is the same age is behaving as normal.

Has anyone any suggestions.

Thanks

Sammi

Default Basscy has been to the vets

I have just got Tabasco back from the vets. She had her temperature taken and was at 104.5 degs.

The vets have given her an injection to bring her temperature down and a antibiotic as they think she has gasto-enteritis (or cat version anyway).

Have to monitor her till tomorrow night and then take her back for a checkup.

She has lost 1 Kg in weight. She does appear to have perked up a bit sincce we have got her home.

Will let you know how she gets on.

Sammi
