Default Squamous Cell Carcinoma (skin cancer)

Hi, I am new to the cite and decided to join in order to see whether anyone is familiar with squamous cell carcinoma. My 15+ tuxedo cat Lucky was diagnosed with this disease in his ears two weeks ago and I was told that the only option is surgery (costing $3000) to remove his ear flaps because this type of cancer is very aggressive.

I started researching this topic and have learned that although this is very aggressive -- it stays local and takes a long time to spread. I also looked into homeopathic treatment for my pet to make him as comfortable as possible and learned about a salve called cancema made from bloodroot which is used directly on the affected area and it draws out the cancer, creates a scab which then falls off with no disease remaining. I read a lot of testimonials by people who have used this personally on themselves -- not many about use on pets but I did find a website for Rising Sun Herbal Products which sells a veterinarian type cancema salve for use on dogs, cats and horses.

I also found another website called allergipet.com that sells cancer herbal treatments and using a questionnaire they formulate the treatments to your specific needs.

Is there anyone who has any information in this regard????

Thank you all for your help.
