Unhappy Kitty is acting strange

My cat Maggie has been really lethargic as of lately. She'll go to one spot and sleep there for about a day. She's not eating or drinking much. She threw up today and it was not normal vomit for cats. It was clear and yellow/green. When you pet her, she'll growl at you.
Normally she's a perky and energetic cat. She eats a lot and loves to go outside. Usually she's a really playful cat and bites/scratches when she's annoyed. But now, she doesn't even attack, she'll just growl and lay her head down again.
I don't know what it is. I'm going to ask my mom if we can take her to the Veterinarian but it's hard to right now when we don't have a lot of money.
Any help is good. I don't want to lose her.

I read your post before hoping someone with more ideas might reply. If you haven't already, i'd be headed for the Veterinarian. I dunno. It just doesn't sound good. We have two and one will gorge and throw up. Or she throws a hairball. But with the wierd color and change of demeanor...wish I could offer more. I'll look in again in the near future. Let us know how it's going.

Confused

Have you found an answer to your question. I feel badly when a beloved pet is ailing and you are up against the wall for answers. I hope you were able to scrape up some cash for a trip to the Veterinarian. Please keep us informed.
