Yucky eye, Veterinarian or no Veterinarian

My cat who is just over 1 has been fighting alot lately, she has a scratch over her eye but not in her eye, it has been around 3 days now and I have kept her inside since yesterday, it has scabbed up around her eye but now I notice she has a gunky eye and its red around the eyelid, is this healing or shall I be heading to the Veterinarian? She can open the eye but if she iss in a dark room and youturn the light on it takes her a bit to open it

Please help, this will be her first visit to the Veterinarian since her vaccinations
