Default Fleas!

We have 4 cats - just moggies, nothing fancy.

We've recently started having problems with fleas. In the past we have successfully used collars, drops or sprays to resolve the problem. But this time round, nothing seems to be working well enough.

Any suggestions?

Default fleas

Being the owner of 5 cats I feel for you. We were flea free until we adoped 3 kittens. We found the Raid fumigator to work great and no mess, washing the cats is a must either the day before or same day and/or using frontline usually does the trick, we had to do it twice but have been flea free for months.

There is a lot of products out there for fleas, I have a recommendation for cleaning your "home" just don't apply it to your pet whatever you do!!!!

The product is: (and no, it's not an affiliate and I don't work for em lol)

DemonWP

This chemical has no odor, the WP stands for "wettable powder", it drys and leaves and active powder (very fine powder) behind.

THIS STUFF KILLS EVERYTHING IN THE INSECT WORLD!!!

It also has no decay rate, 20 years later, provided cleaning, vacuuming, steam cleaning etc etc has not washed it away, it will STILL be just as strong as day one. Awesome stuff.

After you get rid of the fleas, demonWP your house, being careful not to get it on anything either you or the pet will come in contact with. Good places are in the baseboards, VERY back of cabinets, under sinks and most of all "the carpet"...

The carpet is where fleas LOVE to live. They make a home there and party! BUT when you spray down the carpet with demonWP it penetrates deep, and kills any eggs. Demon will TOTALLY destroy *any* roach problem too, no matter how bad.

Vacuuming and steam cleaning will, in time, remove the powder. Give it at least 4 months of NOT vacuuming the carpet to insure all flea eggs are killed.

DemonWP is effective, the most effective insecticide I have personally ever used (been using it about 12 years now) . Spray it on a fire ant bed, just a minor squirt, 3 hours later every ant in the ant mound is dead and on the surface for you to see, including the queen (s) (seen more then one.. odd?).

BE CARFULL it is ODERLESS and anything this effective and odorless has got to be very DEADLY. Be careful with it. The US gov has tried to ban it four times and failed so far. Respect it, even though you can't smell it!

OK enough about that. The bottom line is REMOVE the fleas, and KEEP THEM OUT. You will avoid similar problems in the future.
