Default my cat has red ears

I have a 7 y/o female cat and the inside of her ears are red, Im assuming mites or an ear infection. I havent seen her scratching them or paying any more attention to them then normal. Im wondering if there is an over the counter remedy to try before I take her to the Veterinarian? thanks.

You'd be better of just taking your cat into the vets to have the ears checked. If it is a bacterial infection, it can turn from bad to worse quite quickly. The redness could be caused by a number of things so suggesting a home remedy wouldn't really be possible without knowing what the problem is.

Good luck.
