Broken Pelvis.....

I have a 1 yr old cat that goes out from time to time, came home on the weekend and has a broken pelvis. I give my cat Infant tylenol for pain like 1 ml. WHat I wanna know is should I just let him walk around or confide him to one spot. I have actually tried in leaving him in dark areas where its quiet but he wants to walk around. Tonight he came from the basement and up to the living room and I was shocked. WHAT DO I DO PEOPLE? Not yelling lol........
