Default help

my cat is not eating normaly. She only licks her food, and only in small amounts.. She still drinks, just not as much. I noticed she shakes her head after she licks a small amount of food. She is a little more lathargic than normal, but i figured thats due to not having energy. Everything else seems normal. She did get out and came back loaded with fleas. She had them about a week. I dont know if theres a connection. Does anyone have any idea what may be wrong?

Maybe the fleas has something to do with the loss of her appetite. It is best to remove the fleas first.

Look at her teeth. Are they brown, or decaying, or look abnormal? She may need to have one or more teeth pulled. If this isn't the case, I would take her to the Veterinarian. Could be something more serious!

Let us know!

Edit - Also look in her ears. Ear mites (they look like black goo) or an ear infection (which you would not be able to see) could cause the head shaking, maybe not the food.
