Confused Has anyone heard of this?

I am watching these three Mastiffs. They had diarrea when they came here and the their urine was real strong and strange smelling. I just thought it was the fact that the owner didn't leave food with the people who drove them here. (They where shipped here from another state) So they have been eating the food and still having diarrea. One had it so bad, he was pooping out blood. But I think with him, it is a lot of stress. The two males fight, so he is separated and in the garage, cause I have no where else to keep him. Anyway, the other males hind legs started getting shakey or weak, off and on. About a week, now he walks like he has no muscle in his legs and they are wobbley. Then suddenly the female one who has been eating regular, yet has diarrea, her legs are nearly as bad as his in one day. The other two large dogs are starting to show slight signs also. My dog was bit, and has a wound but he isn't just limping. I have been told it is possible tick disease. How is this transfered? And does anyone know about this and had a similiar experience. I thought the one may have this rare cancer, but now the others are getting it and I need to know what it is and how to stop it. We have been around a lot of kids and I don't want kids or the kids pets getting it. Please help, any advice is much appreciated.

Tick-born diseases could cause the shakyness and diarrea, but would not be transferable to the other dogs. Dogs can only catch it by getting bit by an infected tick. Stress can also cause diarrea, so can switching foods quickly.
Since all three now have it it sounds like it is an infectious disease like a virus or bacterial infection. Both of these can be transfered to other dogs but are not likely to be transfered to a person. All of these dogs need to go to the Veterinarian for treatment. Continued diarrea can cause dehydration. The strong smelling/concentrated urine may also indicate that they are dehydrated.
