Our daughter gave our Shitzu puppy a bath earlier today (4th time). She of course tried to drink the soapy water and all. She wasn't happy afterward and went to her little den (pop up kennel) and wouldn't come out. When I arrived home from work, she usually meets me at the door. Today, I had to litterally pick up the kennel and "dump" her out of it. She cowers, shakes, hiccups, and wants to just lay and sleep and her nose is really, really warm. She did eat and has gone outside to the bathroom a couple times. Is is possible that she is just "mad" and sulking from the bath? She's about 5 months old.

I've had five dogs. Four Lhaso Apsos, and one Poodle/Shiz Tzu Mix. I have bathed them from the day I got them, and never had one of them act as you have described. Puppies, and dogs don't hold grudges. I might consult with your Veterinarian. Shaking in a dog can signify pain.
