Confused New dog runs away from us

Our new ( 6year old) Bernese Mountain Dog runs away from us whenever we go near her. She has been with us for two weeks now. I'm hoping it is just an adjustment issue. She was fine the first few days except she didn't eat much. When we take her for a walk, she is perfectly fine. How long will it take for her to adjust if thats what the problem is.

How did you acquire your dog? Probably her behavior was affect by her previous owner if there's any. Ask her previous owner what her history for you to understand more her behavior and for you to take the necessary action to modify her behavior.

That's normal. Your new dog needs time to get acquainted with her new surroundings. Try using dog treats to prevent her from running away from you. Food is a powerful reward for dogs.

I guess he was just adjusting at his new environment. Be patient.
