Call your Veterinarian- this is something a professional needs to deal with... and diagnose and help you with in person. Breathing problems are serious, so I'd take your poor dog in as soon as possible.

Good luck- keep us posted.

I did take him to the Veterinarian and Butch died in my daughters arms just as we went through the Vets door of his office. The Veterinarian said he had a heart attack and had alot of fluid on his lungs. He will be greatly missed from our home. We loved him very much. The Veterinarian also told me that there wasn't anything we could have done due to the fact that Butch had lived a long life and he was like a 100 year old person. I miss hearing him . This seems so unreal due to the fact that I had went and adopted 2 poodles in December of 2006 which Butch was still our "MAN" and at the first of March the mama poodle 'Scarlet' got sick and the Veterinarian said it was pancreasites she was at the vets for 2 1/2 weeks and we had to put her down on the 20Th of March then now my Butch is gone also. It is really hard becuse I love animals and have always treated mine like my babies. Butch was also given to us and we are thinkful that we at least had the time we had with him.

I am sorry to hear this, sorry for your loss. That would explain the "panking" very well indeed. Your Veterinarian reffered him as being 100 yo dog? That would put him at 14 - 15 yo human. 15 year is a LONG time for a dog to live, and it sounds like you gave him lots of love, and he had a long, full life. You can take comfort in that.
