Default Sick Boxer

I have a 3 year old (will be 4 next month) male boxer that suddenly became very sick....at the beginning of January he had a rash on his chin. Veterinarian treated him with antibiotics and prednisone....three days later he started vomiting uncontrollably. Vet said he was dehydrated and gave rehydration instructions....several days later he was hospitalized because of vomiting (stomach bile)again...abnormal BUN & Creatinine levels, received IV fluids, BUN dropped to normal range, creatine still elevated....was sent home 48 hours later started vomiting uncontrollably again...hospitalized again, BUN & Creatinine elevated again....received IV fluids for 72 hours, BUN dropped to normal, creatinine still elevated...kidney ultrasound normal, urine specimen normal.this time he was sent home on kidney friendly food....12 hours later he is vomiting again...I need help!! He has been seen by 4 vets in the last week, no one knows what is going on...

Is it possible he was poisoned? They don't check for that in blood tests. Is all his shots up to date? Has he been around any dead animals or spoiled food lately?

I am not sure this will help, but I have had several Boxers. We just love them. My first one was only 5 when she started getting sick. She started with diarhea and vomiting, general weight loss.

After many weeks of testing, she was found to have cancer in the spleen, found by abdominal ultrasound. It was missed on x-ray previously. When the Veterinarian went to perform the Spleenectomy, they found that her liver and lungs were riddled with mets, also not seen on x-ray. Boxer's are quite known for having cancer, so I would say go for the ultrasound.

I hope you get an answer and are able to get the help you need, boxer's are the best.
