Default Blood in stool

Hi, I have noticed that my new puppy has some blood in his stool and it looks as though it is at the end of his bowel movement. He just arrived to us on Saturday so we are still learning and would like to know if this is something that can be corrected by us.

First off, it needs to see a Veterinarian. Take a stool sample with you so it can be examined. Make sure you get all the proper vaccines. It could simply be something it ate. Puppys like to "taste" everything as they explore this strange new world.

Default My buddy has died.

Hello all, I am new to this site. Right now I feel much pain. My best friend died two days ago. His name was Woody. I loved him with all my heart and soal. I know you know how I feel. My friends have given me much support. Could you all say a prayer for me too? My name is Brett. I am a massage therapist in Silver City, NM. Woodrow, and previously his mama helped me through the hardest times of my healing. I was so sick. Over the last fourteen years my dogs were there with me through thick and thin. First Coco and then her baby, Woody. I thank God so much for my buddies. They have given me thier lives that I may help others in thiers. To anyone reading this posting...we are all one, all creatures big and small. We are all working toward one unity called love. Thanks for your time, thoughts and prayers.

Hello, and welcome to pethealthforums.

I certainly feel your pain, been spending a fortune on chemotherapy to try and save my schnauzer. I have lost beloved pets in the past, it's like loosing a loved one that's human... Sometimes it is hard, we give our hearts and souls to an animal we know we will likely out-live due to their short life span, but hey it is worth it right? Better to have loved and lost then to not love at all...

Just remember the good times, and hold a special spot in your heart.
