Default Dog Froathing and foaming from nose and mouth

My grandma's dog a black pug just started foaming from the mouth and nose about 15 to 30 minutes ago, we tried getting him into a Veterinarian but they all seem to be pathetically booked up somehow, he is foaming from the nose and mouth and cant sit still, hes drenched in drool, can anyone quickly respond to this and tell me if these symptoms are related to any virus or disease knowing to afflict dogs in a matter of a a few days or be there but not show up until just recently. We have two other dogs and a puppy, so were worried if its contagious among other things.

There are a couple of things that come to mind; he has something stuck in his throat and can't swallow, or he was playing with a toad in the yard. The first is a medical emergency, and needs to be treated by a Veterinarian ASAP. If he was playing with a toad, he should be recovered by the time you read this.
