Talking Questions and Answers - We need Both!

Asking Questions On PetHealthForums

Hello, many of you join to ask a question about your pet. This is nice, this is what pethealthealthforums is here for. However, we are getting FAR more questions on this board then answers...

This board is relatively new. It is designed to be a place to "discuss" your pets health.

Discussions need to be a two way street.

If you are here looking for help for your pet, I urge you to take the time to read the other posts. Not only will you possibly find an answer to your question, but you *might* run across a situation you have experience with in the past. If so, please respond to the thread with a helpful post.

We are not Veterinarians. We are just people sharing our problems.

If you are going to ask questions, please find it in your heart to contribute to the discussion in some way first, even if it is just a vote of sympathy. Some people posting here know their pet is doomed and really only need a sympathetic voice.

Do not PM me or use the contact form to ask me a pet health question. I am not a Veterinarian, and the BOARD is designed for questions/answers. I will NOT answer emails that are pet health related. Post it on the board please.

Let's develop an atmosphere of helping one another.

Thank you.

Default Vetmedin for my Shih_Tzu

Hi.. I am new here. Looks like an awesome site. My love of my life (Mai-LIng) Was diagnosed about 6 months ago with heart disease. Was taking encard 1 tab a day, has done great. all of a sudden last night she had very labored breathing 75 breaths per min. and vomiting.I'm devastated to say the least, went to Veterinarian and she was given x-rays, Veterinarian wants to try vetmedin, lasix, encard. Has any one tried this med on their animal? 24 hours later drinking well, but VERY lethargic, will no eat, been 28 hours with no food. Is this normal? Se is breathing much better, been as low as 27 breaths per min. when resting. Oh Ya, I failed to mention she is just a baby (16) years young. LOL.. We love her to death and just wan to do whats best. Any advice or info is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time.
(Broken Hearted) mom of Mai-Ling

Hi, I'm a newbie here and I agree, it becomes a very positive and rewarding experience when everyone's able to share and contribute information and experiences and support.

However! I'm confused why obvious spammers such as tuvw670 and defg806 are not banned from these forums?

I started reading a couple of threads (with the intention of sharing and contributing), but have been very put off by all these garbage posts!

Just my 2 cents on how to improve these forums!

Angry I'm with you Jan18

Seems to me that the rules on registering prohibit the garbage these prior users have posted. Let's hope our overseer can eliminate them. Meanwhile ,I have a question about Arthritis in dogs and cats. My 10 year old mix has it and I've heard there is a product called Syn-Flex that is very good for animal arthritis. Wondering if anyone has any experience with it?

Let God watch over our babies!

It is obvious from the spam and crap on this forum that there are no moderators or administrators manning the stations. I think this forum is destined to die.
