Default dog won't stop drinking water

My dog is a Sheperd cross and lately she has been drinking any and all water that she can get.

This has also resulted in peeing in the house at night which she has neve done. Any ideas on what the problem might b would be welcome

Definitely bring your dog into the Veterinarian for a full blood panel and a urinalysis. Excessive drinking could be caused by a number of things....anything from increased stress, diabetes, kidney issues, chushings, infection...really, again, there are many issues that could be causing her to do this.

dogs have cushings' too?? wow. i've never heard of that. have you tried limiting his water intake especially at night? try emptying his water bowl and closing all faucets so that he won't reach any water source.
