Confused Dane not feeling so well

The last few days my 17 month old Dane has been feeling kinda puny. He has been drinking and he didn't eat for a couple of days but I was able to get him to eat some soft food with some pumpkin mixed in with it. He hasn't really pooped the last few days, that's why I added the pumpkin. When he does poop it's not very much and he strains hard just to get that out.

He has been licking his legs a lot lately so much so that he is getting bald spots where he has licked so much. He has knibbled on the dog food we have but not like he usually does.

If anyone has any ideas please fill me in. I'm at a loss as to what to do to help him out being that he isn't his usual rowdy self.

Default not sure...

I'm not sure what it could be, but definitely sounds like a trip (or a phone call) to the Veterinarian is in order. You don't want him developing hot spots where he's liking all the time. Not eating could be a sign that something hurts, and especially since he's acting sluggish or not interested in playing.
