Default What's in your aquarium?

I am just curious, how many fish do you keep in your aquarium? How big is it? How many fish do you consider too many fish? Inquiring minds want to know...

I have a freshwater tank, 28 gallons with a curved front. I have a 7 year old plecostomous (yes I said 7 years!) who is about 6-7 inches long. I also have a blue african ciclid, can't remember what species he is, but he is semi aggressive so that limits the other fish I can have. Lastly I have 4 little red tetras who are fast enough to stay out of his way. All in all a nice little stable ecosystem. I'll be moving in the next year and I plan on getting a little bit larger tank to upgrade my freshies into and then turning this smaller one into salt. I've never had a salt water tank before though so I have to do some research.

Default lotsa fish!!

I have three tanks. one is 30 gallons and empty till we get the green terrors, another is 90 gallon and we have tons of cichlids that are not supposed to mix but they do well. We have two tiger oscars, a red zebra, an electric blue (he's a prick) an electric yellow, a jack dempsey, an erridesant shark who is about 4 inches long, a placo who is about 5 inches and a tiny upside down cat fish. My daughter ( who is 3 ) has a 10 or 15 gallon with 2 baby jewels and a little black and blue guy. As for how many fish is two many, I believe that is totally up to your fish, you know it is getting too crowded when once happy fish begin to fight over territory.

I have one 18 gallon tank, because I do not have room for anything bigger at this point in time.

I have 3 glass cats, 2 dwarf Australian rainbows, and a 6 inch, 7 year old Chinese Algae Eater.

We're planning on moving in the next 6 months or so, and I'll have more room for more tanks. Good thing, too. My rainbows have reached breeding size. They need a tank all their own.
