Default My dog refuses to walk.. please help!

My 2 year old dog (Pekingese mixed shiatsu) has been hesitant to walk. Every time she’s on her fours she yelps and starts nibbling on her tail/anal area. Her appetite/energy level/ has dramatically decreases ….. which makes sense cause she would have to go on her fours to get to her food bowl/ play /urinate. It’s heartbreaking to see her so depressed lying around the house all day making no effort to do anything. I decided to bring her to the doctor.

First visit, the doctor said her anal glands were extremely full and then expressed them. She said that should take care of the issue and to call her if the problem still persists. The problem continued…

Second visit, the doctor checked her anal glands again and found no signs of bacteria or an infection of any sort. She gave my dog an injection of Metacam which is used for anti-inflammatory benefits including relief from both acute and chronic pain and an oral version for me to give her the next five days.

Its been a week now and the problem still persist and I don’t know what to do. Has anyone experienced a simular situation with their pets? Any advise would be grealty appreciated.
