I think our 2 year old Russian Dwarf hamster has wet tail disease. I've tried giving her "dry tail" (the medicine for wet tail). Her tail is different looking. Like it's longer? and her anal area is brown. She has been hunched over more and wobbles like she is off balance. She is eating and isn't lethargic. I can't get her to take drops from the medicine dropper as the instructions say. I put 7 drops in her water but she doesn't drink that much. Does this sound like wet tail? or is something else going on? What is the life expectancy for hamsters? My 12 year old son got her as a baby but she's the first hamster we've had.

If you think it's wet tail I'd take it to a Veterinarian...
