Default Bathing Rats

Hi, Just wondering how do you bath your rats and how afton.. I bath mind about once a month with baby shampoo....Is this ok

Baby shampoo is probably alright, but kitten/cat shampoo would probably be better. And once a month is also probably fine. Rule of thumb; if they smell like they need a bath, bathe 'em.

Be sure to rinse really well, and pay attention to areas where shampoo might linger...feet, arm pits, groin area. And don't forget trimming toe nails. If you don't know how, have your Veterinarian or a pet groomer show you.

thanks.. We get our rats nails manikured at a pet store..
