Default Help!!

Within a 2 hour span my fish are all lying at the bottom of the tank gills are moving on some, others are dead. I can't reach my fish guy. I have no idea what to do or what may have caused this. My pumps are all working so it is not lack of O2.

Is your ph and salt content correct? What about your lightening? Have you added anything to your tank recently? Good luck!

Eeek test water

Do you have a master test kit?? If you it would be more helpful if you could post the results, as latergater asked DID you add anything to the tank recently? Check for white spots on ANY of the fish as this could be ick! They don't show the spots however until the parasites are ready to fall off and send out more spore... However one of the symptoms is lying motionless on the floor of the tank. What fish do you have as well as this would help me to narrow down the possible problem!? I'll check back shortly, Do a 20% water change in the meantime just to be on the safe side and dilute whatever it could be.
Keep in mind I know more about freshwater fish but I will go look this up and post back asap.

Exclamation Found this

As I don't have the details on the your fish I am going to add this link to this post, if it is too confusing or not the right symptoms please post back and let me know... did you by any chance add any NEW fish to your tank recently? If so a tip so this does'nt happen again is to quarentine the fish for about a week b4 adding them to your aquarium... here is the link: Velvet or Coral Fish Disease - Oodinium Diagnosis and Treatment
please let us know the outcome asap as fish diseases can move very fast and as you have lost a couple already, If I am wrong I want to try to find out what it could be as fast as possible, b4 you lose more!!!
Best of luck!

Default I found out what happened to my tank

I found out that the back filter was not grounded, shorted out and electical current was flowing throughout the tank!!! I lost all of my fish except the 2 maroon clown fish. My aquarium maintenance guy said it was probably due to the fact that clowns have a mucus coating (which protects them from anemome stings).

Idea wow!

Thats crazy, good thing you did not stick your arm in it, that could suck! I am glad to here that at least the clowns lived through it all. I was woundering what had happened... The best thing you can do is 1) have a drip loop at the bottom of your cords and 2) plug it all into a power bar that has a breacker on it! That is how we have all our tanks! I hope this has not detured you from getting more fish! Well good luck and thanx for posting
again!!!
