I used to have a saltwater aquarium, and recently have been thinking of getting another one. The biggest problem with the older one was management of salt. Salt deposits would collect on everything, the lid, the pump, light, everything!
Has this been perfected yet? This was about 10 years ago, is salt more manageable nowadays? Thanks

We have had salt water tanks for almost 3 years now and we have never had any problem with salt creep. I don't know if the salt is the same at it used to be 10 years ago but i have noticed that when we go into salt water fish stores they too seem to have less salt creep then years ago. We of course have to do regular maintenance on the tanks but don't have to do any salt cleaning off of the lids and lights and etc.
